Cruising is not for everyone. While it was the best seven years of my life, because all the bad stuff you forget.
So many good things you see while cruising. The sun rises and sets, whales, the shoreline and many other experiences are the things I remember most. Driving from Puerto Vallarta to Mazatlan one night, I looked back to see the Southern Cross in the sky. I will remember that for the rest of my life.
We tend to forget the occasional freezing cold nights or thee scorching hot days. Also the horizontal rain coming into the cockpit blinding you as you whip through heavy seas. And we don't even need to mention the things that break on a boat.
But some days I wish I was still riding the sea. Best of luck to tomorrow's cruisers.
